Since I work as a vet tech and wildlife rehabilitator and was employed with a zoo I also have a love of the wild things which comes through in my painting. I strive for realism.

The first in my wild raptor series this is a Black Vulture "Valeria". This painting was painted in oils on stretched canvas. It is painted from a close encounter photo of one of our rehab birds. She is flying free now and has returned to visit/w her mate.
