How much does it cost to setup a store?

Absolutely nothing! There are no setup fees or ongoing fees. We do not charge you for simply maintaining a store with us. All of our store owner features are completely free.

When a customer places an order for an item in your store we will charge their credit card, manufacture the product, ship the order, handle all customer service issues, and send you a commission check each month for your earnings. You can get started with your own store right now.

How do I earn money?

When you add products to your store you get to set the sales price. If you set the sales price above our base price this difference is your commission. Every month we send you a check for these commissions!

Example: Our base price for a white T-shirt is $14.99. You can set the price of your newly designed T-shirt at $14.99 (and make no commission) or you can set it above our base price and make a commission. Lets say you decide to sell the shirt for $19.99. You earn $5 in commission each time this product is sold. You don't have to do anything else. We manufacture the product, ship the order, handle all customer service issues, and send you a check each month for your total commissions. If you sold 20 shirts this month you would receive a check for $100.

What is the maximum amount I can charge for my products?

You can charge whatever you want, as long as the sales price is greater than or equal to our base price.

How much does it cost me to buy my own items?

As the store owner you can purchase items in your own store at the base price. You can buy as many of your own products as you'd like. You will receive bulk discounts depending on the quantity purchased. See our Pricing & Discounts page for more information.

What type of designs/images/artwork can I use?

You can use any type of design! We do not limit the number of colors or complexity of your designs. Photographs look incredible on all of our items. For more information about file types, sizes, resolution, etc. learn more about preparing your images.

What kind of printing process do you use?

All of our apparel products are printed with industrial direct-to-fabric digital printing technology. Unlike traditional screen printing, this new digital technology allows our customers more freedom during the design process. We can print over 16 million colors in a single design. Traditional screen printers are typically limited to 2-8 colors per design. Furthermore, we don't have any setup fees or minimums (you can order a single item for a reasonable price!).

Mousepads, coasters, and cutting boards are printed using the latest in dye sublimation technology. All of our products are printed in eye-popping full color. You're going to say wow! the first time you see one of our products.

This seems like a really good deal! How can you offer this service for free?

It's our mission to give you the most value for your dollar FREE! Our base prices cover all of our printing, customer service, and other business expenses. We run a tight ship to ensure we can continue offering our services FREE to store owners (You won't find any frills at Printfection.com headquarters like the $1000 office chairs of some of the now defunked dot-com's).

Can I have a store just for myself?

Of course! You can create a store for any reason. Many of our members create stores just for themselves as an easy way to sort through multiple products they purchase for themselves. Once you create a store it is yours to keep. You can purchase from it once per day or once per year.

I live outside the USA. Can I still become a store owner or buy merchandise?

Anyone can become a store owner regardless of where they live. Commission checks can be sent to any domestic/international address that accepts mail delivery from the United States Postal Service. At this time we can only issue checks in US Dollars and they are drawn on a US bank. You are responsible for cashing the check and converting the currency if necessary.

What's the difference between the store owner service and the Design a Product service?

The store owner service allows you to open your own store where you are free to markup the prices and sell the products to other people. The Design a Product service is targeted toward people who want to quickly create a custom product for themselves or for a gift and have no interest in opening a store or selling to other people.

If you are logged into your account you can create custom products through either interface. No matter how you create your product it will be saved in your account for future use. You can always move products between sections, stores, and my personal products at any time.
