When do I get paid?
Store owners are mailed a check by the 15th of each month if their total cleared commissions exceed $25. Store owners can set a higher payment threshold in their account at any time, or have Printfection.com hold their commissions until further notice. This is useful if you are moving, going on vacation, or want to use your earnings as PFcash.
When someone buys an item in your shop the commission you earn is "pending" until the first day of the 2nd month following the month in which the purchase was made. On the first day of the 2nd month the commission is "cleared" and eligible to be paid out or used as PFcash. Commission checks are issued on the 15th day of the 2nd month for commission amounts exceeding $25. This holding period allows us to offer all customers a 30-day 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. Our guarantee takes the worry out of purchasing on-line and has dramatically increased store owner sales (and commissions).
For example: All commission or markup earned from July sales are paid by the 15th of September assuming the amount earned in July is at least $25. If you earn less than $25 the commission will be held in your account until you earn $25. You can spend cleared commissions less than $25 as PFcash at any time.
How do you pay me?
Payments are issued as a paper check and mailed to the address listed in your account on the "payee information" page. Not sure where your checks are being mailed? Learn how to update your account information.
Alternatively, cleared commissions can be used like cash on the Printfection.com website. You can purchase any combination of products (including your own) using your cleared commissions. We call this PFcash and you can learn more about PFcash here.
Do you take taxes out of my commissions?
No taxes are taken out of your commissions.
Do you notify the IRS of my earnings?
For US persons we are required by law to file a 1099 form with the IRS if you earn $600 or more in commissions in a calendar year. The payee will be named as an independent contractor who received the taxable income. A copy of the 1099 form will also be sent to the store owner for record-keeping.
Is there a maximum amount I can earn?
There is no limit to the amount of commission you can earn with us.
Do I have to be a business or have a special type of bank account to get paid?
No. Anyone can sign up to become a Printfection.com store owner. If you can cash a U.S. issued check then you can get paid.
Does the commission check need to be made out (payable) to me?
No. The commission check can be made out to any person or business entity. You should verify that you're able to cash or deposit the check with your bank. Most banks will not let you cash a check if the check is payable to someone else. You might also have problems cashing or depositing the check if you only have your first name on the check. As a general rule, checks should be made payable to your first and last name or the full legal name of your business (as registered with your bank).

My bank won't cash my commission check. What should I do?
Contact us for assistance. Most banks will not cash checks if you have used a fictitious business name that does not have its own bank account. You may also have problems if you have used a nickname or first name only.

What happens if I lose a commission check?
Contact us immediately! Log into your Printfection account and verify your mailing address is correct. We will then verify the funds are still available, and credit your account. The refunded amount will process with your next month's commission. This process may take up to 7 to 10 business days. Once the amount has been credited to your account you will have access to the funds as PFcash. If it is verified the funds have already been dispersed you will not be refunded.
My account says I was paid commission but I never received a check.

I have multiple stores. Will I receive multiple checks?
Each user account receives one check regardless of how many stores the account contains. If you have multiple accounts (multiple logins) you will receive one check for each account. Currently there is no way to combine or split commission checks.
